Texas high school football stadium to cost $70 million

[image: stadium] In an effort to give their students the best education possible, the McKinney (Texas) School District is building a $70 million football stadium. Some people in the community have complained that the project is extravagant, calling it the most expensive high school stadium in the country, but "officials pointed to other districts in football-mad Texas that were building comparable athletic facilities," reports American School and University magazine, so detractors should keep their football hating mouths shut.
