Third case of polio recorded in Nigeria

Three weeks after two fresh cases of Polio disease was recorded in Borno state, another case has been recorded in Munguno, still in Borno state. According to the World Health Organization, a crippled toddler has tested positive to the polio virus. The agency says activities of Boko Haram members have hampered the effective immunization of children in the North East region.
