Asus Zenfone 4 specifications appear on GFXBench ahead of the launch

Ahead of its launch on 17 August in the United States, Asus seems to have let the cat out of the bag, about the new ZenFone 4.

The specifications of the upcoming Asus ZenFone 4 smartphone showed up on GFXBench, and thus giving hints about the new smartphone.
If specifications on GFXBench are to be believed then the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm SoC at 2.2 GHz, and runs on an updated version of Android Nougat (7.1.1). The 5.5-inch display screen has a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels and supports five-finger gesture support. It comes with 4 GB RAM and around 64 GB storage.
Expected to come with a dual camera, according to the benchmark, it has 12 MP rear camera, which allows autofocus, face detection, flash, and touch focus. For gamers and viewers of video alike, it can be viewed in Ultra High Definition (UHD). Meanwhile, the front camera has 8 MP pixels. It has a resolution 3264x2448 pixels.
The launch event in India will be on 19 August. The price of the ZenFone 4 Max in Russia was price at Rs 13,000 Rubles (around Rs 14,000) with 4,100 mAh battery.
These specifications are pretty much in line with the leaked ZenFone 4 specs. According to them, the Asus ZenFone 4 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display. It houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset and is paired with 4 GB RAM and storage which can be expanded up to 64 GB. It is powered by a 3,300 mAh battery. It is expected to come with dual rear cameras of which one will have a 12 MP resolution and the other will have an 8 MP resolution. On the front, you will get an 8 MP camera. Coming in Black and White colours, the device is expected to be priced at 499 Euros (approx Rs 38,000).
