Selena Gomez is all set to star in Woody Allen's upcoming film backed by Amazon Studios

Los Angeles: Singer-actor Selena Gomez is starring in Woody Allen's upcoming film alongside Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet.

The title and synopsis of the movie are still kept under tight wraps.
The movie will be his third release for Amazon Studios following Cafe Society and Wonder Wheelaccording to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cafe Society released in 2016, and stars Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, Steve Carell and Blake Lively.
Meanwhile, Wonder Wheel features Justin Timberlake, Kate Winslet and Juno Temple. The film is set in Coney Island during the 1950s. It will premiere at New York Film Festival in October and come out in theatres in December.
Allen also worked with Amazon for a TV series. He made his first foray into television with Crisis in Six Scenes where he shared the screen with Miley Cyrus, that the studio reportedly financed and distributed, reports Deadline.
Gomez has previously executive produced the Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why. She also starred in The Fundamentals of Caring and In Dubious Battle. Fanning was also recently seen in Sofia Coppola’s The Beguiled along with Nicole Kidman. The other films in her kitty include Haifaa al-Mansour's Mary Shelley, Reed Morano’s I Think We're Alone Now,; Mélanie Laurent’s Galveston and Max Minghella’sTeen Spirit. Chalamet, who was previously seen in Homeland, was recently featured in  Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me by Your Name, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
