Deputy Secretary of State John J. Sullivan met with Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström on June 27, 2018, in Copenhagen, Denmark, on the margins of the Ukraine Reform Conference.

During the meeting, Deputy Secretary Sullivan thanked Foreign Minister Wallström for the role Sweden plays as our protecting power in North Korea and for its support of denuclearization efforts.

The two leaders also discussed other shared priorities, including Ukraine reform, stabilization efforts in Africa, the conflict in Yemen, and other regional security issues.
