Democratic Sen. Cory Booker dramatically said he would “knowingly” violate Senate rules to release confidential emails on Thursday and mainstream media outlets painted him as a liberal hero. But several media outlets allowed booker to continue his victory lap hours after it was revealed that the emails had already been cleared for release.
