Illegal immigrant smuggling attempt blamed for deadly crash near U.S.-Mexico border
An American citizen’s attempt to smuggle illegal immigrants into the country ended Thursday afternoon with three people dead and eight injured in a crash in a remote, rugged area of California near the Mexico border, authorities said.
