On behalf of the Government of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Brunei Darussalam as you celebrate your 35th National Day on February 23.

The United States and Brunei Darussalam enjoy excellent bilateral relations, and Brunei is an invaluable partner in Southeast Asia. We look forward to expanding our partnership across multiple sectors to promote peace, security, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.

I wish His Majesty Hassanal Bolkiah and all the people of Brunei Darussalam a peaceful, secure and prosperous year.
