Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Carl Risch is traveling May 5-7 to San Diego, California and Tijuana, Mexico. In San Diego, he will visit the U.S. passport agency and then meet with foreign government counterparts from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom at the annual Five Nations meeting on passport operations. In Tijuana, the Assistant Secretary will review consular operations at U.S. Consulate General Tijuana and meet with interagency partners and members of the international consular corps to underscore our deep and sustained commitment to the protection of U.S. citizens overseas.
