Vice President Mike Pence will deliver remarks at the 49th Annual Washington Conference on the Americas, co-hosted by the U.S. Department of State and the Council of the Americas, on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at 3:25 p.m. at the Department of State.

This year’s conference will also feature remarks by Vice President of Colombia Marta Lucia Ramirez; President-elect of El Salvador Nayib Bukele; Secretary of Foreign Relations of Mexico Marcelo Ebrard; Minister of International Trade Diversification of Canada Jim Carr; Acting U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kevin McAleenan; U.S. Senators Marco Rubio and Bill Cassidy; U.S. Representative Eliot Engel; and Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Kimberly Breier. The afternoon session from 2:15 p.m.– 5:15 p.m. is open press coverage.

Pre-set time for video cameras: 11:15 a.m. from the 23rd Street entrance. Final access time for journalists and still photographers: 1:30 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance.
