Recently, one of the founders of Cybrary received the following message:

I have 0 dollars and I am struggling financially, so I am not able to pay for courses. The fact that the courses your website offers are free gave me the opportunity to start building my security skills from the ground up. People like are the ones that make the real difference in the world.

Muhab’s story is awesome and truly reflects the mission of Cybrary:

On January 13, 2015, Cybrary launched with the goal of providing Cyber Security learning opportunities to anyone, anywhere. We believe everyone deserves an opportunity, and opportunities should not be limited to people who “win the birth lottery.”

Fortunately, the internet enables us to do this. We’re making the cyber security industry a more level playing field where everyone has the educational tools they need to be competent and confident. Cybrary is a community where people, companies and training come together to give everyone the ability to collaborate in an open source way that’s revolutionizing the cyber security educational experience.

In short, we’re creating the ability to bring all the best cyber security learning elements and content together from the people who are doing it, the people who have done it, the people who have learned from it and the companies that innovate on it, and delivering free training to anyone who needs or wants to learn from it.
