Deputy Secretary of State John J. Sullivan met today with Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al Roudan in Washington, D.C. The Deputy Secretary thanked the Minister for Kuwait’s strong economic partnership and friendship with the United States. The Deputy Secretary conveyed the United States’ support for the continued development of economic integration and bilateral ties between Kuwait and Iraq. The Deputy Secretary and the Minister also discussed progress on the outcomes of the March 20 U.S.-Kuwait Strategic Dialogue, including the new U.S.-Kuwait Business Council.
